KUALA LUMPUR GLOBAL TECHNOPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE 2016

Our world is facing 14 Grand Challenges that threaten our very existence and our way of life. The 14 Grand Challenges are a set of 14 challenges that have been identified by the National Academy of Engineering in the United States. These are challenges that mankind has to address in order sustainably move into the 22nd century. If you want to be part of the solution, join the Kuala Lumpur Global Technopreneurship Challenge, KLGTC 2016.

 

KLGTC is a three month free entrepreneurship course that is awarded by The Technopreneurship Institute. Using technology, participants work in teams to develop technological ideas that they plan to create businesses from. At the end of the course, teams with the best solution, judged by the quality of the business idea, coherence of the team and the potential of success, will be invited to Kuala Lumpur to participate in the final stage of the competition for an opportunity to pitch and win seed money to start or move their business to the next stage. 

 

WHAT'S IN THIS COURSE?

This course is the preliminary event for the competition. The course is designed to guide participants as you navigate through the grand challenges and Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate a suitable solution. You will learn the basics of CDIO, entrepreneurship, working in teams and how you may address the Grand Challenges.
