Precalculus is a course with pre-university level consists of algebra and trigonometry. It is designed to prepare students for the study of calculus. It consists of four major parts: coordinates, graphs and lines; functions; systems of equations and inequalities; and trigonometry.
By completing this course, you should be able to state and then use the basic concepts of real numbers, complex numbers, absolute values, coordinate planes and functions.
You also should be able to solve equations of exponential, logarithmic, linear and non-linear and trigonometric.
Lastly, you should be able to sketch the graph of functions.
