Our business began over a decade ago in Sydney, Australia. Our founder was an ocean lifeguard who, in 2005, decided to take his skills from the beach to the classroom; to set up shop delivering first aid training to the community. As our business has grown, so too has our scope of training. CPR and first aid are great skills; but ultimately they are skills that get put to use when something's gone wrong. They're used for damage control. We started to think about how we could help individuals and businesses understand how to prevent (where possible!) these emergencies from happening at all. We wanted our learners to understand the importance of good staff training, good workplace systems, and good workplace policy and procedure. We still deliver our first aid suite of training, but have added safety courses (including construction induction and fire evacuation) and a range of business qualifications including leadership and management, human resources, and work health and safety.
