Greetings everyone, I am Kee Pau, a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology and Counseling, Faculty of Education and Human Development at Sultan Idris Education University. I obtained my Ph.D in Counseling with specialized in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, United States in August 2015. I am currently a National Certified Counselor in the United States and Licensed Professional Counselor in Malaysia. She is a member of American Counseling Association, American Mental Health Counseling Association, Virginia Counseling Association, Association of Virginia Counselor Education and Supervision, and the Chi Sigma Iota. She has presented at local, state, region, national, and international conferences on topics such as personality traits, perfectionism, self-concept, supervision, international student self-advocacy, intimate partner violence, and multicultural issues in counseling. Her research interests included domestic violence/intimate partner violence, mental health related disorders, diagnosis and treatment plan, multicultural issues in counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectic behavioral therapy, crisis intervention and trauma, and clients with perfectionism issue and neurofeedback intervention.
