Dr. Muhammad Aunurrochi Bin Mas’ad Saleh currently is a Senior Lecturer in Faculty of Shariah & Laws, University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He graduated from University Madinah, Saudi Arabia with B.A Shariah. He later obtained Master of Arts (M.A) and PhD in Shariah at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Currently, he is Committee of Post-graduate Studies and new programme of Faculty of Shariah & Laws, and committee of Qualifying Test for Master and PhD Program, and reviewer for Journal and proceeding articles as well as an examiner of researchs, masters and Ph.D thesis.
He is actively involved in research and writing related to Shariah and Islamic Finance. Among his researches are 1) Tinjauan Syarak Ke Atas Pelaksanaan Bay’ Bithaman Ajil : Satu Kajian Perbandingan antara Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) dan Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI), 2) Konsep dan Kriteria Keuntungan dalam Transaksi Jual Beli : Satu Tinjauan dari Perspektif Fiqh al-Muamalat and 3) Fatwas on Islamic Capital Markets : A Comparative Study Between Malaysia and Gulf Co-Operation Council (GCC), Countries. 4) Methods of implementation of Diyat System in Cases of Road Accidents in Malaysia: An Initial Survey.
