Who we are

We are highly skilled software engineers with extensive experience in practical university teaching and education research. This experience drives our product; we understand how to design and organise features that will achieve our desired teaching and business outcomes.

Few engineers have a thorough understanding of effective teaching practice, and few educators are able to design and build amazing software. We are perfectly positioned to be building the world's best online learning platform.

Why we're doing this

Existing e-learning systems focus on content delivery and administrative tasks rather than encouraging effective learning. As their motivational and social features haven't been successful, unsatisfied learners are turning to other social media not designed for education.

OpenLearning is designed as an education-specific social media platform. We are passionate educators building a motivating and meaningful learning environment, connecting people internationally to share learning experiences.
